The Mini Vision Board Starter

One working page of the 2027 Vision Board Kit: a 4-frame mini board where each frame carries a price tag and a payday chip, the price-it method in one block and 10 cut-outs from the kit’s own stickers. Digital or printed, standard US Letter. In your inbox in a minute.

Why this one works

Every picture on your board gets a price, a date and a payday amount.

Most vision boards are pictures and words. Yours comes with the numbers: what each picture costs, when you want it, and what each paycheck moves to it, colored in as it happens.

Why the board stops working by February

You make the board in January: a beach, a cozy bedroom, a stack of cash. It looks beautiful on the wall, or on your phone.

Then the paychecks come and go. Nothing on the board has a price or a date, so no paycheck ever moves money toward it, and the beach stays a picture.

If that sounds familiar, you have company. In a Wells Fargo survey by Ipsos, 64% said setting financial goals is easy and sticking to them is where they struggle. That is not a discipline problem. The board had pictures, and no plan for payday.

What changes the moment you open it

Price-tag picturesA price, a date and an amount per payday

Each frame on the board has a price tag and a payday chip. Price It turns a want into numbers: the price, divided by the paydays until the date, rounded up so it is ready on time. In our sample, a $540 beach weekend by Jul 30 is 15 paydays, so $36 a payday.

The paycheck checkA board one paycheck can carry

What My Paycheck Can Give puts the board next to your take-home pay. If the board asks for more than is left, you move a date or a picture, never your whole year. In our sample, the first board asked $207 a payday with $195 left, so the beach trip moved from Jun 4 to Jul 30 and the board fits at $193.

Picture plansWatch each picture fill, payday by payday

Each picture gets its own plan: three steps, an if-then payday rule and 26 boxes to color, one for each payday you move money to it. Plans written as “if this, then that” help people follow through: a review found it across 94 tests.

Vision Board Day, Saturday January 9

Make the whole board in one sitting, about two hours, alone or as a vision board night.

  1. 1
    Write your wish list

Open the PDF in the app you already have (GoodNotes, Notability, Noteshelf, Xodo, even Files or Books), or print it on US Letter. Write up to 20 wants across eight life areas: home, money, travel, family, health, work, learning and fun. Star the ones that make this year’s board.

  2. 2
    Price it, then check it

Give each starred picture a price and a date, divide by your paydays, then check the total against one paycheck. Too much? Move a date.

  3. 3
    Make the board

Paste or draw a picture in each frame, add its price tag and payday chip, and set your lock-screen board. On your next payday, move the money and color the first box.

Good questions

Before you ask

Is this a physical product?

No. It is a digital download, one PDF. Nothing ships in the mail. Your download is on the screen the moment payment clears, and the link comes by email too.

Which apps does it work in?

Any PDF app: GoodNotes, Notability, Noteshelf, Xodo, even Files or Books. Rather use paper? It prints at home on standard US Letter, 8.5 × 11.

Does it work for my pay schedule?

Yes. Every payday line is fill-in, so it works for every pay schedule. Each picture plan has 26 boxes for every-other-week pay; twice a month uses boxes 1 to 24, and weekly pay colors one box for every two paydays.

What if my board costs more than my paycheck can give?

That is what the paycheck check is for. Move a date, and a later date asks less each payday. Or move a picture to later in the year, or pick a smaller version of it. A board that asks too much is not a failure. The picture stays on the board.

Is it for 2027 only?

Yes, this is the 2027 edition: Vision Board Day on Saturday, January 9, and check-ins on Apr 1, Jul 1 and Oct 1. Your paydays are fill-in, so you can start in any month. Free updates to the 2027 edition are included.

Are there pictures and stickers?

About 100 elements: 64 pictures across eight life areas, 20 word labels and 16 money pieces (price tags, payday chips, stamps and progress rings), plus frames for your own photos. Copy one with your app’s lasso or screenshot tool, or print the page and cut.

How long does it take to make the board?

About two hours in one sitting. The Vision Board Day page walks you through it: the wish list, the prices, the paycheck check, the board, the picture plans and the lock screen.

Can we make it together as a vision board night?

Yes. The Vision Board Day page has a plan for it: each person brings their own pages, prices stay private, and everyone leaves with a board and a first payday rule.

What’s the refund policy?

Simple: if you want a refund, email support@sweetpeadigital.com and we refund it, no hoops. If something in the file isn’t working, we’ll gladly fix it the same day, but the refund is always yours to take.
